[Mothership] Ex-AMK MP Inderjit Singh points out 4 issues with 2017 Presidential Election

Highly vocal ex-Ang Mo Kio member of parliament Inderjit Singh has weighed in on the upcoming Presidential Election 2017. In a Facebook post on July 28, he pointed four issues that ought to have been resolved or handled better in the lead-up to the election for the highest office of the land. Advertisement Essentially, the four issues are: 1. The constitution could have said that the fifth election should be a reserved election and not the sixth. This would have avoided some of the hullabaloo. 2. More clarity for the concept of “Malayness” could be established so that Mendaki and SINDA can align their positions on the racial definition and for the purposes of a General Election or a Presidential Election. 3.
