I don’t mean to put down my Dyson DC26 or other Dyson models with bristle brush nozzles, but the red-and-blue candy-striped brush really has no peer. It can be detached and washed, and when I did that for my loan set I was happy that I didn’t have to contend with any icky hairs which usually cling to the parts which pick them up. Like other Dyson vacuums, the dust box can be emptied at the press of a button and taken out for a rinse. But the Dyson V6 Fluffy is one step ahead of its brothers and sisters – even its post-motor HEPA filter can be detached and washed. This is the first time I’ve heard of a washable filter – which means many years of easy maintenance without any need to buy expensive filter replacements.
