Melbourne 2015 – leisure shopping

We spent the last 1.5 days taking things slow in Melbourne – basically checking out the neighbourhood and leisure shopping at the malls. Our hotel, Oaks on William , is just a few streets away from the colorful Queen Victoria Markets. Really convenient for us to get fruits and food to prepare breakfast and dinner at the hotel! Despite the expensive carpark charges, we made the wise decision to drive to South Wharf DFO. Saved our backs as we didn’t have to carry both tired cranky kids while grappling with shopping bags. After getting some pretty sneakers for the kids at South Wharf DFO, we returned to our ‘hood to check out the malls along Bourke Street, Lonsdale Street, etc. I must say, shopping is definitely more enjoyable in Europe for the husb and myself, but the kids did have fun with the life-size displays of toys and of course, had the joy of getting some toys for th...
