Not many know that today our top civil servants, those in the staff grade and top super scale are already being paid a nett total of $1-$2million p.a. Including the various bonuses. These include the Supreme Court judges, the SAF and Police chiefs, the Perm Secs and CEOs of Stat Boards. To keep them happy, the PM uses the confidential performance bonus scheme payable every April. The PB can pay up to 11 months salary secretly and confidentially as decided solely by LHL. My prediction for the coming report and recommendations of GE's Cttee anytime now.......all the top Political salaries will be reduced 40-50% nett. The President and PM will now get $2-$2.5 million, Ministers 1-1.52 million. The Govt will accept the report in toto (of course after secretly discussing and amending with GE).
