Ida and Mae tutorial | Blessed Quiver
Today’s blog post is brought to you by Marcy of Ida and Mae : One of my favorite things to make of all my jewelry pieces is the upcycled necklaces. Super fun and easy to do! The jewelry tool supplies you will need is a pair of jewelry pliers, some metal rings, and jewelry adhesive, all of which you can find in the jewelry supply section of your local craft store. The other supplies you will need are a vintage pearl necklace, a fabric rosette or a vintage brooch or clip on earring, and some coordinating ribbon. Start by removing the original clasp from the necklace using your pliers. Then attach a ring to each side where you just removed the clasp pieces. Take your ribbon and measure the length you want, then cut it into two pieces and knot each piece onto the rings.
