Can Eating Durian Really Kill You?

Ever heard of the famous saying that too much of the good stuff can kill you? Apparently, in Thailand, there is a warning against eating or drinking any dairy products within 8 hours of consuming durian. Why, you might ask? There’s no clear explanation as far as research is concerned. Eating a minimal amount of dairy is perhaps tolerable but quite recently; there was news about a 28 year old man who died because of drinking milk moments after eating durian. The cause of death was a heart attack and apparently, the combination of milk and durian was far more poisonous than snake venom.
