WDJT-TV anchor Tom Durian leaves for Minneapolis
WDJT-TV (Channel 58) morning anchor has left Milwaukee for Minneapolis. He has joined ABC affiliate KTSP-TV where he work as weekend anchor and weekday reporter. "It's a great station in a great news town and I'm excited for what's ahead" (despite the cold)," he wrote on Facebook. Durian, a Los Angeles native, reportedly could not come to terms on a new contract. All references to him have been removed from the station's social media pages and website. He was replaced on the air Wednesday by Mike Strehlow. Durian previously worked at KHQ Spokane, Wash., where he was the weekend anchor. He has also anchored and re orted at KMIR Palm Springs, Calif., and KAV-TV Palmdale, Calif. "Milwaukee has been good to me," he wrote.
