Expedia.com recently released the results of the Expedia Sky Conduct Report, a worldwide study that examines the preferences and habits of flyers on a country-by-country basis. The top 5 in-flight activities are sleeping (67.4%), watching movies/tv shows (57.8%), listening to music (37.9%), eating/snacking (33.7%) and reading (27%). Singapore travellers (63.2%) are aware of staying hydrated and chose water as their favourite in-flight item compared to 7.1% that preferred to consume alcohol when flying. They also favour cabin comfort options like Wifi on long haul flights (11.4%) or extra leg room (52%), but avoid paying extra baggage fees (76%).
