Until now, I still got people who thinks that their vote is not secret. That’s nonsense. Nobody knows who you voted for unless you tell them. Your vote is secret . The entire process is witnessed by all political parties. It there is any discrepancies in the process, they would have raise it by now. The serial number on the ballot paper is to protect the integrity of the democratic process, and not to undermine the secrecy of the vote. The ballot paper number is still a feature of UK parliamentary and local government elections. Remember, your vote is secret. Come polling day on 7th May, vote wisely.
