Haven’t been writing anything since quite some time. Various reasons, but hectic work schedule being the primary culprit. This seems to be a good post to get back in the groove. One of my friends shared this on Facebook, and I thought some of the innovations featured are just awesome. And then I realized the footage from this programme from Discovery Channel is actually a few years old! So these are some innovations from India. Not the snazzy, jazzy ones with rock and roll design dudes and savvy business people. No sir. But the ordinary coconot farmer who invents a tree climbing apparatus or a college kid who develops a foot pedal powered washing machine. Real innovators who rose up to everyday challenges they faced and produced something Un-sexy but very cool. Watch these videos and decide for yourselves.
