Can blur other parts too?? New blog post: YouTube roll out Face Blurring feature

Have you ever recorded a controversial video and you want to upload to YouTube without giving away the identity of the person in the video? Well, YouTube recently released a new tool call Face Blurring. The tool allow YouTube video uploader to automatically blur out all faces in the video. This is specially useful when posting videos of protest (for example the Egypt demonstration) where the uploader can share sensitive footage without exposing the faces of the activists involved. YouTube explains that this is still an emerging technology and it is sometime hard to detect faces due to video quality and lighting. But this is a first step towards visual anonymity on YouTube. If you want to blur out the faces in your YouTube video, just go to the Additional Features underVideo Enhancements tool .
