Pixels & Grains: The Story of Lorong Mydin Part 2 Posted by admin under Pixels & Grains (0) Comment • (150) Reads • Permalink If you remember the previous Pixels & Grains post , this is part two of fellow I Love Museums ‘ fan, Taufiq Jaafar’s photo collection. This is Taufiq’s father as a young boy taking a rest - a reflection of the wistfully carefree kampong days. Brothers and cousins lying on the cool tiled floor on a hot afternoon, it was typical how children would cool down after a long day of play - no air-conditioning back then! Of course kids had to study too apart from playing. Remember those metal pencil cases and wooden rulers? A very cool old school tricycle. Some very great tea time snacks that mothers would skillfully prepare back then - kueh-kuehs, jellies, tarts and cookies. They just don’t make them like they used to anymore! Tune in next week for more pic...
