Recipe: Spare Ribs In Fermented Bean Paste via @Dead_Cockroach

This dish is a family favorite and we simply love how the meat tears away from the bone so effortlessly. We also enjoy having lots of Garlic and Ginger with it and the rice tastes so good when drenched with the sauce! Depending on the saltiness of your Fermented Bean Paste, you can always adjust accordingly how much to put in. Just experiment and you might be surprised by the outcome! Ingredients : 600gm Spare Ribs (blanched briefly in boiling water) 1 tbsp Fermented Bean Paste/Taucheo 1 tbsp Garlic (minced) 1 thumb-sized Ginger (julienned) 2 Chilli Padi (seeds removed, cut with scissors in an angle) 1 tbsp Sugar 100ml water Marinade : 1 tbsp cooking wine 2 tbsp light Soya Sauce Ginger juice (grate some Ginger and squeeze out the juice) Directions : 1) Marinade Pork Ribs for 30 minutes 2) Saute the Garlic, Ginger and Chil...
