New blog post: Canon EOS 7D firmware upgrade

Canon is pleased to announce a major firmware upgrade for its highly popular EOS 7D DSLR. The upgrade, Version 2.0.0, will bring the following features to the EOS 7D: higher number of maximum shots during continuous shooting GPS Receiver support (with the Canon GP-E2 GPS accessory) Canon’s latest software features like in-camera RAW processing, JPEG resizing and manual sound recording levels The firmware will be available for download from the Canon website from the beginning of August 2012.
