If your workplace is in Tanjong Pagar or have passed by Tanjong Pagar lately, you would have seen the long queue at Keisuke Tonkotsu King in Orchid Hotel. Condiments are free flow. Bean sprouts, boiled eggs, bonito flakes, mayonnaise etc. This is the first time I see boiled eggs in a ramen stall! Brown had lower cholesterol while the white is the usual one. Only the pork bone broth with Original, Black Spicy & Red Spicy is served, but you can customize your ramen by filling up the order sheet to define the soup base, strength of broth, noodle texture, ingredients (flavoured egg, seaweed, or both) and amount of chicken oil. I enjoyed my Original Tonkotsu Ramen ($14.80) with spring onion, black fungus, fatty chashuu, seaweed and a perfectly soft-boiled egg.
