What would become of Singapore if the Japan dosaster happened to us?

I do understand Lucky’s lament and i think it is a fair comment. Importantly, we have to understand this in the right context. Yes both locals and foreigners are leaving and for various reasons. However, I would expect the foreigners, not having any sorts of strong bonding in Japan, to leave in larger groups when risk increases. At the end of the day, should the worst ever happens, do you expect to see a scene where a large number of foreigners will choose to stay back and rebuild the country? History has always told us that it is always the locals, those who eventually choose to stay on, that will undertake the uphill task. The foreigners are normally back when there are large rebuilding tender projects are up for grabs! History has never been wrong and has always been consistent and repeating itself….no matter how well you can argue your case!
