A week with the Dell XPS 15z

This is so long overdue...

One week into using the Dell XPS 15z, and a problem that has surfaced is the inability to turn off the trackpad despite having your own USB mouse. This becomes a bit of a problem as I’m typing because my palm tends to brush against the trackpad and that causes the cursor to either shift or, in the worse instances, causes a ‘click’ which could disrupt whatever i’m doing altogether. Battery life is becoming decent now though. With a modest screen brightness, I can generally stretch the battery life to around 5 to 6 hours which is usually more than enough for me to not have to worry about having a power source. (I bring around all my power adaptors most of the time) I don’t particularly like the position of the “Home”, “Page Up”, “Page Down” and “End” keys because they’re coupled with the directional keys and requires me to press “Fn” to use them which I often forget.
