Local PMETs, as they grow older, gradually find themselves being displaced by younger foreigners willing to do the same job for less pay, but without adding value or increasing the productivity of the economy as a whole. Unless this changes, the Government will find it hard to motivate local PMETs to think out of the box or raise the overall productivity of the economy. The workforce will gradually become more and more disenfranchised and people will feel they have been sold out.
