Our nation now is at a critical juncture and if the civic society or government cannot agree on various social and politcal issues, then there will only be a growing sense of mistrust and doubt which would plauge our nation for decades. It was reported in the papers recently that an average of 30,000 PRs are handed out each year, for the past 3 years by the authorities. With the large number of PR and workers from all over the world coming here to work and live, there must be some form of social integration programs so as to address the social impact.
