Stepped foot for the first time to Pulau Hantu. Indeed, there are no hantu on pulau hantu, well, at least I didn’t encounter one! It fascinates me that despite its proximity to Pulau Bukom, the island is thriving with loads of marine life. And I am all too happy to share with you what I’ve spotted. This pretty Wiggly star anemone has to be one of my favorite finds from Pulau Hantu, because of the sheer amount of time camping out at a spot to watch it unfold from its hiding! This shy anemone hides upon any sign of danger, but its worth the wait to see it. Spiky Flower soft corals. In this photo, the spikes are more obvious as the polyps curl up into little balls when they are out of the water. They ‘bloom’ into flowers when submerged in water.
