Our latest press release detailing the steps we would take to deal with the haze crisis

Our government must reverse its current opt-out status from the Kyoto protocol to limit greenhouse gas emissions. Anything less leaves Singapore open to accusations of hypocrisy and self-interest when it comes to environmental issues. In particular the decision by our government to obtain an opt-out as a developing nation is particularly inconsistent with its claim that we have one of the highest GDP per capita in the world. Develop a clear-cut protocol for issuing Stop Work Orders to outdoor workers and schools whenever the 24-hour PSI goes above a level established globally as hazardous to health Develop clear protocols to ensure that sufficient supplies of face masks are available at low cost and distributed freely to the young, the elderly and those with respiratory problems such as asthma in addition to poor households Establish an independent air quality monitoring b...
