Arrived at Sydney's airport at 5am and our dear ol' Matthew was there to pick us up. It was quite exhilarating actually... to walk out into 7 deg cold air at 5am and have your long time friend receive you into a car with heater on. And off we headed for breakfast! Spent the entire day at his place and stayed the night. We set off for our road trip towards Brisbane (Nimbin was our last stop) the next morning. We went through the Forest of Tranquility which didn't have much except for a number of horses and cows... and made a pit-stop at Newcastle for dinner at Goldsberg. Temperature drops when evening sets in... In the day, it can stay as warm as 18 degrees, but when night comes, it drops to as cold as 5-7 degree...
