Washing Chopsticks: What do you want in a President?

Today, I watched snippets of the presidential forum on Channel NewsAsia while I cooked my dinner. I made it in time to catch the last bit - a minute speech on why Singaporeans should vote each candidate, and I must say, that little speech did reveal quite a lot about each candidate. Tan Kin Lian went first, and brought up his experience in the finance sector, managing the savings of thousands of people. I think it was Jee Say who went next. He said he was the most non-partisan, independent candidate of all. Tan Cheng Bock said he had experience managing Chup Hup holdings - I never heard of them before. And last of all, Dr Spectacles wrapped up the most calm, composed and eloquent response, citing substantial work experiences in the ministry and abroad.
