These conditions (heart diseases, strokes, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes) are all interconnected and frequently, a person suffering from one of it will likely face an increased risk of the other three as well. My mother suffered from a heart attack in 2010. You would have thought this would be a sufficient wake up call for me to get my health in order, but nope. I let myself go I went from 55kg to 60kg to 65kg, by which point I had borderline high fasting blood sugar levels, and rather unhealthy cholesterol levels!
