What better way to spend your Sunday than to get engaged with wildlife and some exercise while you’re at it? Well, for that we have the Otter Cycling Trail! It is a bike ride that runs along the PCNs (NPark’s Park Connector Networks) in the northeastern part of Singapore. Interspersed with pit stops, your friendly guides will introduce you to a host of wildlife in beat-up natural areas that run along the route. What’s more, these are all the hotspots for otter sightings – we may get to see them if we’re reeeally lucky! The first otter trail held in July last year attracted a diverse group of participants. The ride will be led by me (Meryl Theng aka Ottergirl), having conducted otter research in these areas.
