For the second consecutive season, a foreign club in Singapore has won all trophies in domestic football. Advertisement Japanese side, Albirex Niigata, beat Global Cebu FC of the Philippines 3-1 on penalties to lift the RHB Singapore Cup on Nov. 25, 2017. The game finished 2-2 after extra-time. In the penalty shoot-out, Global missed three of their four attempts. This means Albirex has swept all four trophies again, having won the Community Shield, League Cup and S-League titles earlier this year. It is also the club’s third straight Singapore Cup win.
