People around the world were intermittently unable to use WhatsApp for about one-and-a-half hours. Advertisement The messaging app went down on Friday, Nov. 3 due to a unspecified problem with the service that started around 3.45pm (Singapore time). The app put up a notice under the “Help” section saying: “Our service is experiencing a problem right now.
