I was just talking to Richard about the evils about Ebay and that's what I've gathered so far - Money management seminars are useless to people unless they get their life sorted out and realise how much 'time' is actually worth, and not look at the price tag of something alone. No offence to ebay lovers, but I don't see the point of spending time lurking on the internet hunting for the best deals at the expense of wasting so much time on searching..comparing..bidding..and the horrible thing about postage. It doesn't matter if the item is 50% cheaper than retail price, but postage costs just as much as the item.Personally, I'm very much a 'shop' shopper. I like to touch, see and try out the things I buy if possible. It may cost slightly more but at least I'm sure of what I am buying, instead of buying something and regretting in the future. Online shopping is slightly different from bidding from auctions as it's less distressing and you just pay for what you what you bought. But I guess some people like auctions for the thrill of winning bids huh.---I'm missing the times I'm earning my own keep, but I think this problem will be sorted out next semester. Have got some plans lined up and I should be rolling in the dough again $_$ ---Just got the news of a friend who is in the insurance line, 1 year older than me and he suffered a stroke. A reminder to all of us that we shouldn't take our youth for granted and abuse our bodies with junk.
