Out on Facebook - I totally LOVE episode 5 of Blogger's Treat! The "making" of Blogger's Treat - Episode 5 is out on Facebook! If you want to take a look, click here! Anyhow. I know I'm being a little bias here. But seriously, episode 5 of Blogger's Treat is one of the episodes that I really had ALOT of fun! Although, I have to admit that I kinda enjoyed the food from episode 4 a little more. (Ooops. No offense.) Continue reading... Jayden is right. Blogging really does take alot of work! Like the title explained - "Jayden is right. Blogging really does take alot of work!" Oh btw... This is the first time I've seen "Jayden so formal"! Duh. Obviously this belongs to Jayden. IT IS JAYDEN! (Erm... To be honest... The shoes kinda killed the effect. Haha.) And being ill this week somewhat helped cover up for the totally overdue entries. *Phew* Thank god. Anyhow. Continue reading... Aaron is a idiot, McDonald's made me puke! Idiot Aaron SMS-ed to wake me up and read a review on Blogger's Treat even though I already told him I'm sick, need to sleep otherwise tomorrow I might not be able to do filming. But nooo... Who cares if Princessa is sick (to the extend I'm sleeping close to 16 hours the past 2 days). She's not the star anyway. Tomorrow got Nadnut, got Nadnut can already. :( *Sobz* Oh yeah... About being sick... Continue reading... Cherry QQ: 'Pick it' at your own risk! The Cherry QQ is cute, but there's scary stuff underneath the "good looks". Of all the Chinese car-makers, Chery QQ is probably the most famous, and one of the most successful. The company was founded in 1997, and made a name for itself by famously "borrowing" the design of the Daewoo D'arts, otherwise known as the Matiz. This did land the company in some hot water with Daewoo's owner, General Motors, although the situation has since been resolved, with Chery being allowed to continue churning out Matiz clones. Continue reading... Blogger's Treat Ep 2: We wanted Prata, but we had more! Time flies by so quickly when tons of stuff are at hand. Oh well... So far we've filmed 4 episodes of Blogger's Treat and yesterday we've distributed out episode 2. I know... I know... Where's the backstage previews I promise right? Erm... Give me a little more time, and I will reveal all the dumb-dumb stuff as well as the set backs that happened during the filming. Scouts honour! Okay. Before I take a nap and go out for another meeting, here's the highlights of Blogger's Treat Ep 2. "Today", we feature Hillary Chan (you know... Nic's girlfriend), a Malaysian girl working in faraway Singapore missing her "hometown food". What "hometown food" are we talking about? "Don't tell you leh..." "Aiyo... The title already said it all what..." Now people, pardon me for the not-so-fluent chit chat during the "show", I'm still getting the hang of the whole "hosting" thingy. Anyway, watch the video and let me know what you think. Insults are more then welcome. Thank 'q' you - Ejra Cafe & Catering! And of course, to all that tune in to us! (If you haven't watched episode 1, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR!) Oh yes. Before I forget... Continue reading... Himalayan Goji Juice: The Legend... You're about to discover how a bottle of juice can help you start your own home business... (Well, at least that's what they say...) It is said that the Himalayans were the first natural healers, and that they shared their wisdom with the ancient herbalists of China, Tibet, and India. One of their most prized secrets was the fruit of the native goji vine, which had been flourishing in the Himalayan valleys since the beginning of time. Those who came there to learn took the goji home with them and planted it in their own valleys, thus spreading the legend of this most marvelous and healthful fruit. Since its discovery in the Himalayas, those who know of the remarkable goji berry are awed by its unmatched health-promoting powers. Continue reading... YouTube: Going HD? This is not new. In fact, news about it has been spreading since late February. For most of us that are somewhat involved in YouTube one way or another, we would probably not put the words "YouTube" and "high-resolution" within the same sentence. I mean, seriously, quality is definitely not what YouTube is all about. But all this is about to change? It turns out there is a little something that you can add on to the end of a YouTube URL to have it play a high-resolution version of the same video. (But of course, the video has to be somewhat of higher resolution to begin with, logically speaking that is.) Here's the catch. Apparently not every video has been re-encoded into the higher quality version yet (if ever). According to this article: Continue reading... Communication Breakdown: It's 'fence' not 'fans'... God. Sometimes I wish my sister can be a little more specific when she says something! Geez. Remember my entry yesterday? I was saying that my sisters and I were going out and one of them wanted to check out "fans". Well, at least that's what I thought she said. Apparently, it wasn't "fans" she wanted to check out but "fence"! It's not big deal I guess but this happens really too often. Like on Monday, Teddybear wanted to catch a movie and said I could bring my sisters along. Continue reading... Blogger's Treat: Aaron Koh's User-User Generated Content We've all heard of the term "user generated content". It basically defines content generated by the users or simply what we know as - blogging. The concept for Blogger's Treat revolves not only around "user generated content" but "user-user generated content". How so, you ask? I'm the host of Blogger's Treat, and well, although I would gladly be the star of the show, the true star is in fact the guest that have kindly spared their time to help introduce and star in the short 8-10 minutes video clip. (Boohoo for me.) Let's go a little further back into time. Continue reading... Miki-cham to the Doc, sister to the Dolls, other sister to the Fans. I wanted to like write the whole background story to the formulation of Blogger's Treat, but unfortunately, as the title explained, time has kinda forbidden me to do so. (Aaron should be nicer to me, I super credited him in my upcoming entry okay!) Oh well, later tonight then, it's half written anyway. Oh yeah, Miki-cham is my sister's doggie. (I would have said "my doggie" but she would start making noise again.) (First sister mentioned is Vanessa, second is Celest.) Sigh. I'm starting to miss my dumbass Teddybear. 3am in the morning... 7 hours more to go... Tata Teddybear? This is totally ridiculous! Just the week before, Teddybear spend 7 full days in Germany to attend some conference thingy (in other words, it's a business trip). Supposedly, this next trip is due in June, which means I get to see him almost everyday, as per normal. Sadly, in an turn of events, in shortly 7 hours time, my dumbass Teddybear is leaving town for another conference in Malaysia, KL, for 3-4 days. It has only been like a week and *poof* his off again! This is sooo totally... Wrong? Continue reading... English is "world class" and Chinese is "no class"? Well, at least that's what Ellouisa Chen from ST Forum thinks. Even though I have to say that most would probably NOT agree. "It's Singapore, serve us in English first, please" Ellouisa Chen wrote an article at ST Forum that caught quite a bit of attention. She started off commenting how displeased she was with the fact that whenever she step into a retail boutique, she was always greeted by the sales assistants in Mandarin instead of English. Although she claims that this isn't about speaking in Mandarin equals mediocre service. But "attacks" were somewhat made throughout the article. Yes, English is the universal language. However, when you talk about Singapore, though having a mix of cultures, on an ratio, the majority of Chinese living here still surpasses those of which are foreign. What's my point? Continue reading... A blog featuring mainly on the magnificent city of Toronto! It sometimes bothers me to write about stuff that I'm not really familiar with. Then again, blogging is somewhat my livelihood, so... Exceptions have to be made somehow or other. Anyhow. Take a look at this screenshot: Differ from most "commercial websites" this so-called "Toronto bed and breakfast" site looks very much like a "blog". (Even in terms of content.) Continue reading... Xbox 360 2nd Anniversary Party @ Screening Room, Part 3 - 10 Upcoming Titles I know the "Xbox 360 2nd Anniversary Party @ Screening Room" was like one whole month ago. But this is after all, already part 3. So... Well... You know. Anyway. I'm keeping this really short. In fact, I'm just gonna throw in the 10 upcoming Xbox 360 game titles with some screenshots, and be on my way. (If you like Xbox 360 games, you're gonna love this!) 1. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Check out my entry at my game blog! Lucasarts' new game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will land on, Continue reading... Life With Princessa (2008.05.04) What can I say... Sometimes words doesn't speak as louder as a... Video? P/s: Video taken by Teddybear. Who is DAVID COOK? American Idol: DAVID COOK He is a 25 year old good looking guy from Blue Springs, Mo. After graduating from Central Missouri State University with a degree in graphic design, he brought his aspiring music career to Tulsa. His friend's from Tulsa believed that even he graduated from college; he would always be a performing artist. David Cook auditioned for American Idol Season 7 in Omaha, Nebraska. He actually does not have any plans of trying, he just supported his brother Andrew and then when he gets there, he decided to try it for himself. He made a great performance singing Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer". Continue reading... I'm addicted to Naruto Shippuuden! Episode 42 I already owe 3 backstage round ups for Blogger's Treat so I might as well owe the 4th one too? It's been a really busy week with one event after another. I barely had time to finish watching my Naruto Shippuuden yet! Arghhh... I'm currently on Episode 42 as you can see below: Online Videos by Veoh.com Continue reading... Launch of Scarlet: Returning home... I just came back from the "Launch of Scarlet" (which is actually a LG event) held at the Singapore Flyer, organized by Gavin Foo. It was really an experience, took tons of photos, and I even took a ride on the Singapore Flyer even though I'm terrified of heights. ~>. Getting late, guess I'll leave the details for later. Another long day tomorrow. Filming the upcoming episodes for Blogger's Treat. Nights! Blogger's Treat Ep 1: Daphne & Lan Zhou La Mian The video speaks for itself. I'll update content later. Gotta rush out. Enjoy! ******* UPDATE ******* Gosh. It's like Labor Day and I still had hell lotsa stuff to attend to. I'm sooo totally drained. Anyway. The video you're about or have already watched happens to be the premier episode of Blogger's Treat - the show where our guest bloggers feature their favourite eateries. (I'm Princessa and I'm the host of Blogger's Treat if you didn't already know.) As written, the first episode features Daphne, and she brought us to her favourite Chinese eatery - Lan Zhou La Mian. Quite a bit of "stuff" happened before, during and after the take. But I'll be leaving that for later. I need to catch some sleep before I die or something. Oh yes. Before I forget... Continue reading... I got caught for SPEEDING going at 83km/h... I'm sooo not kidding with you! Here's the whole story. My Teddybear went to see the doctor this morning and I accompanied him. After that I drove home. (The boring part.) When I walk into my room (yes I finally have a room), I saw an envelop on my table with the words "ON GOVERNMENT SERVICE" in front, and behind... At first, I didn't think much of it, but when I opened it up and read the content within. I got a little taken aback. Continue reading... No car but have to go out! Hate it! Call me spoiled. I don't care. I hate to go out when Xiao Hong (my little red carriage - Getz) isn't around, but I hate it more to see my Teddybear take the public transport. Sigh. I'm gonna buy another car! Hopefully this time my mum will sponsor me. Sob. I don't feel like going but I WANT TO GO! Damn... Why didn't they send the invites a little earlier! Argh! Angry! Oh well. For the sake of Alvin and Aaron I shall... Take the cab! Haven't taken MRT or the bus since I can't even remember when, better not take the risk. Die. And I left my Xiao-Xiao Bai in the car. God. It's going to be a bad day. I just know it! Are there "that many" Top Tier Singaporean Bloggers? As written in my previous entry, invitations to the "Launch of Scarlet" happening this coming Friday, 7pm at the Singapore Flyer are released. Differ from the previous invites, this time round more bloggers are invited to grace the event with me. (I thought that would be great. But how wrong I was.) There were a couple of things that didn't go as well as planned. Continue reading... David Nutter Productions: "Launch of Scarlet" - The Unveiling... Quite a handful of people have been questioning me about the "Launch of Scarlet" invitations I've been talking about (and of course giving out) this couple of days. So now, since I'm finally able to sit in front of my notebook in peace... I'm here to answer all that I can answer. Photography by Aaron Koh. Apparently, "Scarlet" is a top secret project by renowned Hollywood director/producer and "king of pilot TV" David Nutter (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, X-Files, Sopranos). You can check out the website at http://www.scarletseries.tv. Today (or rather, since 3-4 days ago), I'm here to invite bloggers to experience the "Launch of Scarlet" with me at: Continue reading... Magma Heritage: The Ultimate Pullip Dolls Shop Of all things to have a craze over, my sister, Shynessa, happens to be somewhat obsessing over Pullip Dolls. (Which are quite costly, especially when I end up paying up front first.) Anyhow. Pampered like always, not willing to take public transport at all cost, we ride on my little red carriage and made our way down to Magma Heritage to pick up Blanche and pre-order Ala. Continue reading... Rebuke: The Most Hurtful Things Said. Best. My sister, Shynessa, wrote the most interesting entry ever. And here's my rebuke to it. My "boyfriend" told me that he was only with me out of sympathy. He said that I was a crybaby, spoiled brat that is stupid and if I didn't get things my way, I lose my temper. etc etc. Reality check. You are a spoiled brat. So is Celest and myself. And yes, you don't get things your way you lose temper. You mean you didn't notice? Continue reading... If you have something to blog, BLOG NOW! I've come realise that I absolutely CANNOT put aside something to blog about for later, cause when later comes, I might lose the urge to blog about the thing I wanted to previously. Like the day before, I was going to blog about the Pullip Dolls, a trip to Kimage, and I-can't-remember. (Saw an old friend at Kimage, who happened to be my sister's TEACHER!) I said I'll do it the day after, but I end up waking at noon and went shopping with my sister, Celest, at Far East for the WHOLE DAY! By the time I reached home, I find myself having so much to blog about and having to go through so many photos, I don't feel like blogging about any already! (Which is bad.) Continue reading... Blogger's Treat Preview What is Blogger's Treat? Blogger's Treat is about a "food show" that looks to showcase bloggers and their favourite eatery. (It could be your neighbourhood Kopitiam or it could a small cafe that the blogger frequents or likes the most.) Due to certain "restrictions", and of course, to not bore the audience. Each episode is designed to fit into a 10 minutes time slot. Anyhow. WE NEED YOU! The Blogger's Treat crew is looking for bloggers to star in future episodes. If you are interested to be part of this video cast, please feel free to drop us a Facebook message. Please include your favourite food stall and its location. Our recording is usually on Saturdays. Looking forward to meeting you. Cheers! P/s: Enjoy the preview video. :) David Nutter Productions: Invites for "Launch of Scarlet" Okay. I'm making this short, going shopping with my sister. Invitation for the "Launch of Scarlet" is out at Facebook, click here to view. Continue reading... Time flies by when you least expect it to... Roughly 12 hours ago I was saying something like, "I'll be back after collecting the Pullip Doll with my sister and her boyfriend." I was kinda expecting to come home and blog after that. But well... Things didn't really turn out the way I expected it to. For one, we didn't manage to get Ala (the name of the Pullip Doll), which was pre-ordered like 2 weeks ago or something. Instead, my sister bought another doll in Ala's place while waiting another week for the stock to come in again. (Using my money yet again!) In most cases, after spending so much on something, an individual would feel a little pinch to her pocket. But for this case, since I was the one forking the cash out... Well, you get the picture. Anyway. Continue reading... I will be BACK! Pullip Dolls collection... Really busy this few days, and now I'm going out to help my sister pick up her dolls. Here's an example: If you're interested to see what dolls I'm talking about can head over to Shynessa.com. I will of course be posting photos soon. Hmmm... Oh yeah... Continue reading...
