Three years of romance, and two years of marriage later i hate work mei's back and i got presents again! i almost got a nice handbag but i shall resist the temptation till sept =) something happened at work today and it's really making me wonder if i should still stay on... maybe mei and chong is right, why stay on if it makes me so upset almost every working day... since the money and the people suck, should i stay on? guess the only redeeming factor is that confirmation i know, i hardly have much readers now but i just need a space to vent out my thoughts... i somehow wonder if our brain works like my 2 gb thumbdrive, it can only accept so much information... anything more than that and it'll just reject... my confirmation date is drawing closer and i've yet to make a decision about my job... should i stay or should i go? i like my job, but i hate the person. back i'm back after a long break... work's starting to become my life... and its not turning out the way i wanted it to be... work should be about life, but now all my life is about is work... i even had thoughts to do a 5 hour store visit on a public holiday... can someone please knock some sense into me? work life is not miserable, but its just not turning out the way i want it to be... and 2 days to 2 months its just 2 days shy of my 2 months of working in the company... and i'm still undecided that i like the job... i hate the pay though, makes me feel really underpaid when i'm told what others are paid (in other companies)... *sigh* was contemplating on taking a masters and i chanced upon the Masters program offered by Cornell University and Tuition fee alone costs a whooping $83K!!! how many updates i haven't been blogging for almost a month but the time didn't seem that long... the past 30 days had been busy... very busy... mei returned and has gone back to london and its back to the 8-hr time difference once again... we've returned to the usual sit-by-the-comp-waiting-for-skype-to-ring motion... and i've started work... to be exact, its been a week & a day at work and i'm still not used absolut bling i'm a happy girl! mei's back and she brought gifts!! i got a nice 2007 calendar and a surprise gift. she also brought back 2 dozen krispy kremes for all her friends!! but not before offering us a piece! woohoo! now i'm not a suaku anymore... =P yes yes, i got a gift that completes my entire vodka collection... please meet the newest edition Absolut Bling Bling! in a limited edition gold casing 3 more days!! 3 MORE DAYS!!! i'm beyond excited as saturday draws nearer!! lalala, i can't wait to see mei again, although i just saw her online via skype last night =P and i've got effectively less than 3 days to clean up the house and her room!! i've sort of turned into into my mini bead studio for the past months and now i can't seem to find another space to dump my beads... its not good considering averil's in top 4 Thank you for all the concern, my shop's on the go again! *roar* if she tries anything funny again, i'll sign her up for all the spam mail i can get!! and No, the price of the watch is not fixed by me... if my friend can't get that price, she's ok with keeping it, cos in order to buy the Arctic Touch, u got to purchase any other watch first, thats why its expensive... BUT she's willing to Swatch Arctic Touch I have a limited edition Swatch Watch!! its so hot that every single piece has already been reserved and there's a waiting list! Comes standchart run I DID IT! i completed the standchart run yesterday! woohoo~! i did it in just below 2 hours... wahaha, considering that i probably ran 2km and walked the other 8km, i think its a good time =P chongster accompanied me throughout the entire walk, and he had to 'sacrifice' his timing, cos men 10km started a whole 30 mins earlier... he just crossed the starting line and waited for me! i honestly its here!! my VS top is finally here!! its the most expensive piece that i've bought so far, and with so little material!! but i'm a happy girl... its a tad too long for me, but a little alteration should do the trick... i can't afford to send it back to get the size changed =P yippee yippee! now all i need is the perfect christmas party to wear it to =) the standard charted race is tmr and i haven't Averil The exam results are finally out and i'm officially considered a graduate! (till the actual ceremony).. i'm happy that i managed to clear all my units with a good majority of credits! not very clever but good enough =P oddly, i've been following this season's Project Superstar on tv, mainly because i have one friend in it! its funny cos i hardly understand all the comments the judges give in busy busy i made a decision today... to get the nokia 6288 instead of the N80... figured that i'll be a good girl and save pop the difference in value... took me quite a while to decide on a phone, but i guess this phone is one of the simplier models... shouldn't be that difficult to get used to a slide phone... =) honestly, why do people buy such expensive phones when we hardly use most of the candy's 1st bday my computer's finally fixed! with a $70 hole burnt in my pockets! i hate such expenses and its not even my fault... lesson learnt, when changing a computer, just change the whole bloody system, no point trying to save some parts like the old modem, cos it'll break down shortly after, and expenses will have to be borne by me, and not poppy =( its great to be back using my comp, but the break has free! i had my final exam yesterday and it feels kinda odd to be "free".. its like after 2 years of studying (with somewhat playing), i've finally finished my degree! it seems to ba happening so quickly that reality still hasn't set in yet... maybe its because i'm still holding on to 2 library books =P but i'm glad i still have some sense of relief... its good to know that everything is finally over exam fever going out to mug was not a good choice today... apperently the A level students decided to stake out my usual coffee joint, resulting in a very noisy cafe =( had to leave after 3 hours of not so condusive studing... met this really thick skinned family yesterday at the coffee joint, the father ordered a small cup of coffee (smallest size, not shots) and demanded a LARGE cup of water, and the bday celebrations 06 Baby, thank you for leaving behind a sweet entry... wahaha... now i got a reason to go shopping! =) the birthday came and went in a flash... too quickly to actually enjoy my grape juice =P so highlights will be brief as well... i'm supposed to be mugging hard for my exams... finally got the time to order and collect (thanks stacia) the oh-so-famous lana chocolate fudge cake all the way from shopping spree I promise to bring joyce out on a shopping spree the moment her exams end in november! no terms or whatsoever so long as she doesn't leave me in debt =) Happy Birthday Baby! (although i'm always late =P) so much stuff has been happening lately, and not forgetting a very important date coming soon! wahaha... i got a gift today! in a yummy red box! its a 18pc make-up set from estee lauder! woohoo! someone had to psyco i think i'm a bit screw loose in the head... its 1.30am, and i'm here redoing my assignment which was due yesterday only at 700 words got 3300 more to go with a packet of chips for company and i actually feel happy! sweet revenge this has got to be one of the days of the year, even the smelly haze cannot dampen my mood.. the top 200 universities worldwide has been released, and my uni's in position 38! never mind it fell 5 places down from the previous year, but still, to be in the top 50 worldwide is something ok! and how about my little copycat friend? lets see.... hmm... not in top 50.... hmm... not in top 100... hmm stupid lanterns i bloody hate my school... i cleverly took part in a lantern making competition, and i lost! never mind if i lost to fellow students... i lost to the school staff!! all because the winner was determined by votes! since the staff were in-charge of distributing the votes, guess who won?? and to think that i wasted nights making TWO lanterns! bloody piece of shit! argh! its already oct!!! its been 3 weeks + since mei left for london, and i still miss her loads! but she's coming back in dec!! woohoo! ok, its a bit anticlimax, but it beats having to wait for 9 more months.... december's good =) one day into this month, and it means a one month closer to my exams!! i'm even done with all my stupid assignments yets!! not to mention that we got a word extension oops yes, i've been lagging in the blogging world... not that i want to, but assignments are just driving me insane! just a few weeks to the exams and i still got 3 more assignments due... this is terrible... so just a quick update... =) caught Forbidden City at the Esplanade on saturday, with excellent seats! had to book way in advance to get the sat after IMF, but it was all worth it! tried to procrastinator i'm such a procrastinator... assignment's due and all i've got the mood for is online window shopping... i'm hopelessly beyond hope... can someone please tell me how to make 3500 words appear before 8am tmr? *sigh* eventful week its been an eventful week... ever since last weekend... sat was spent cleaning the whole house for mei's surprise party... her dearest sec school friends decided to throw her a surprise party, and lots of plans were made to keep her in the dark... but all went well in the end.. =) sunday was the most memorable day... it was little jane's 3rd birthday! oddly, her birthday seems to have other day one day one and i miss her loads already.... but i think i'm making progress... its only going to be a few months, and besides, i get presents at the end of it!
