Yesterday, I sat down on my bed, and had a good time reading till 1 am, which I then had a peaceful and sound sleep. It’s amazing how much His word refreshes me, and puts me at ease. And so I made a pact to myself, that I will be learn to truly let go, and be happy with myself. So for a start, I am going to learn to love myself once more… and do the things I want to do. Life is short, and I shall not waste any more time moping anymore. With friends around whom I can count on, is there anything else I can’t conquer? I still remember how the event unfolded on my 23rd birthday. Oh those memories… It’s Friday, and I am feeling great I guess. Nicole Operation R It has been a hell of an emotional roller-coaster ride. But I am glad I got out of it, and things are starting to look up thankfully. Work’s never ending, but I guess forcing a break upon myself is a good idea. I can keep worrying, but things won’t change. Will just have to take it in my stride… To mark the end of the emotional roller-coaster ride, I went ahead to hack off more of my hair and change my hairstyle again, this time, showing off more of the highlights in my hair. Quite happy that my stylist once again didn’t disappoint me. It was a tad last minute arrangement, but I am glad he is free. I also did a hair treatment to strengthen my scalp, and prevent hair loss. The cold massage and hair treatment soothes a lot of my frayed nerves, and it never felt this good. Awesome stuff. My family headed down early to Grandma’s place to help her prepare the reunion dinner. The bulk of the cooking fell to my dad and mum, as my Grandma has difficulty preparing dinner this year. I found this app via app world that allows me to write blog posts to sites running word press (self hosted) or from wordpress.com. Connecting to the blog is pretty painless. URL along with user name and password, and that’s it! You’re ready to start blogging. Lol. I have not figured if there are additional options/features that I can tap on. Do take some time to catch the display. Nicole The RollerCoaster It has been an emotional rollercoaster ride, and it didn’t help that I mess things up, and got totally mad at myself. But I’ve since come to terms with it, and no point sitting down and moping about it, for I have more tasks at hand to see to. Honestly, the emotional fatigue ain’t easy to recover, but I am quite thankful to be surrounded by friends whom helped me back to my feet, and listened to my whines and rants. Thank you so much. Tried my hands at the Canon 500D, as well as the Canon 50D. Picts and write ups on the way! Nicole Body Worlds Exhibition Oh yes, quite sometime ago, I was invited to attend the Body Worlds: The Original & The Cycle of Life exhibition that’s currently held at the Science Center. It’s my first visit, and boy, it was an eye-opening trip, at least to me. The Body Worlds exhibition is strictly no photography, but I was granted permission by the Science Center to take photos of it, so that you can view the pictures on my article. The BodyWorlds exhibition is still on till March 2010! (Not very sure about the exact date when it closes). Admission is at 20 dollars per adult. I will tell you more about the embalming process soon! (Stay tuned!) Thanks to Science Center for the photography permission and Jiayi from Band PR for making this trip possible. Fab Food Food has always played a major role in my life, and its hardly surprising, thanks to mum and dad whom can cook Though dad cooks better. Oops. Doesn’t help that the bf is a foodie as well, taking me to places to spoil my tastebuds, and me, trying to find new places to bring him to… On the top of my list would be Standing Sushi Bar, where he has to make a trip with me next time when he comes back… oh and The Garden Slug (I shall try it first) Nicole Mad Mad World of Mine My world is currently a mad world. An influx of projects just came in. I can’t complain, for it’s what will bring the dough. Nicole fastforward time January is almost over. My, that’s like one month into year 2010. This year, I made no resolution, because I knew it would be broken anyway. But what I did was to tell myself, to rest and pace myself out better. So far, things that have happened to me are beyond my expectations, like being able to keep a pet fish in my office, and you have no idea, how much I love the little fish, because she is of significant meaning to me. Her spirit is strong, and her will to live is so strong that she overcame odds to survive itch, a white spot like illness that most fishes may not be strong enough to recover. I feel very thankful to be meeting up with my sec/poly friends, and spend time with friends and people around me as well.
