I'm back!!
Hey all,I'm back!Comp is working once again.Need to get back my blogging inspirations.LOL.Oh ya! I couldn't get back all my photos. :(I only managed to get a few back which is like 20 out of 200 plus photos.Heartbroken.So moral of the story : Store your pics, vids, mp3 in a backup file. Be in thumbdrive, CD-R.okok. No pics yet. Will update again soon. :)I promise!!
My photos all gone!!??
I have not been blogging for months! My CPU broke down in the midst of saving my documents and pictures. Can you imagine how tedious can it be when i have 300+ of photos ( Yes! They are very precious to me!) lots of documents and excel spreadsheet files to save? And the best thing, it just shut down before i could finish saving everything.I tried restarting the comp 101 times but it failed me.Hanged at the windows loading screen.tried reformatting and it just wouldn't load.Keep hanging at the scan disk part.Frustrated!Had to trouble Mr Low to carry my stupid dumbass CPU for repair. As both of us have our own things to do during the day, we have no choice but to send it in to PC Zone (Lot one, level 4) for repair as its also convenient for us to pick it up when its all done. But But.....It was a wrong decision afterall.I was fedup with the service provided.First they need our windows CD key in order to reformat it. (Fine enough, since the person said need for authetication purposes)Since we didn't bring it along with us, he said we could actually send him the cd key through SMS.Ok. Send and waiting for repair status. The next day, Mr Low called up the person to enquire the status.I need to know if any parts needed to be changed, or what has been done. Before Mr Low could even asked him, the person just merely said "oh, I just reformatted it for you." and he HANGED up the call! Freaking RUDE!!!3rd day since i sent my CPU there. No calls regarding the status and when is it possible to collect.Since i was at lot one for dinner, i dropped by and asked. He was still fiddling with it and tell me to come back in another 2 hours to collect.Fine! i walked around with Mr Low, grumbling and feeling pissed at the same time.FINALLY...CPU ready for collection.Just reformatting it cost me $40, which i could totally do it myself. And i just dislike their service so much that i wouldn't want to step into their shop anymore! So, the moment the CPU is fixed and loading, i checked my thumbdrive. To my HORROR! All my photos are gone! CRAP!Before it died on me, i did remember saving it.Now, all my precious photos were gone! And i intend to develop them once i have the free-time.Sigh.. That was probably one of my unluckiest day.

Fatal accident - appeal for witness
On 14 Sept 2007 at 9.45am, my friend Mr Liu Xia Wei (Alex) met with an accident. The accident took place at the junction of Bukit Batok Street 25 and Bukit Batok Ave 6. He was just another junction away before reaching home. The impact of this crash caused my friend to fly a distant, in the process, smashing his helmet. He was sent to hospital but unfortunately, he couldn't survive. He died of skull fracture and internal bleeding. he passed away on the 15Th of Sep (Sat) at 1030am. He was only 21 years old, having just celebrated his 21st birthday in August. I'm appealing to the members to public, who have witness the accident to come forward and provide information regarding the accident. Anyone with information, please approach the police or call them at 1800-547-1818.Mr Liu Xia Wei was a friend of mine since secondary school days.He was cheerful and never fail to have a smile on his face every time.Although sometimes he was a bit talkative, I do enjoyed chatting with him in between lessons. He never fail to lend me his listening ears when i need to whine about my problems. He was a great friend.I was devastated when i received this news.I can't believe my friend is gone just like that.Another 6 more months to his ORD.He was inspired to be a chef.If only this accident didn't occur. The least thing i can do for my friend is appeal online for the witness to step forward and provide details about this accident. Please contact the police at 1800-547-1818 if you know anything about it.Rest in peace Xia Wei, my dearest friend. You will be remembered by us all.

Impulsive actions leads to regrets
I believe many of us have regrets in any point of our lives. Some regrets are minor but some are major that it left burnt marks on our hearts or minds. Who doesn’t make mistakes? How many of us will actually pause and think of the consequences if they were to carry out their thoughts or actions? I’m sure most of us will act on impulse instead of thinking of the consequences. That is why we learn from our mistakes.Take Cpl Dave Teo for example. His silly actions will lead him to a few years of sentence plus a few strokes of cane and perhaps a black record against his name. My point is, he is only twenty years old and he has a bright future ahead of him if only he could figure out his thoughts properly. It was reported in the news that he was left with one more month to ORD. If he could wait for his ORD and then settle the problem with his ex-girlfriend, he won’t be suffering now. Not only he’s causing harm to himself, he is also causing more problems to his family and the rest. Not only his future is wasted, the time spent during his army life is wasted too. If he could be positive and wait, he could have used the time to further his studies or travel around the world etc. Wouldn’t that be better? After this incident, the message to bring across to the audience is quite clear. Think twice before you act. If you need someone to talk to, you can always confide to your parents, friends, partners or even the help line. I’m sure there will be someone who is willing to listen to you and encourage you. You are not alone. Think twice before you act, your impulsiveness can cause you to pay a heavy price.Like the saying goes: Be a man, do the right thing. Think twice before you really act.
The Rubber Boy
Take a look at this.He was hiding inside that box.So flexible. Is he from the acrobatic team or what? This is truly incredible.
Ratatouille = 那个老鼠的戏
Went to watch Ratatouille with Mr Low last Saturday. He went to buy the tickets before i meet up with him.Had our dinner first before watching the show. While eating, i asked him:Me: Dear, how did u manage to get the tickets ar?Me: Did you pronounce Ratatouille correctly?Mr Low: ermmm....Mr Low: I told the aunty i want 2 tickets for Ratatouille lor.Me: Oh.Mr Low: But hor, the aunty dun get it leh. Mr Low: So i told her..那个老鼠的戏.Me: Burst out laughing* Huh? Lytat also can ar?Mr Low: y not?Usually, we don't spend money watching animation movies,But after watching the trailer i was dying to watch it.So much better compared to other animation movies. We were laughing our heads off during the start of the show. The cinema was half filled with kids.Whenever the humour part comes in, i can hear kids roar in laughters. At that instance, i thought i was a little kid too.The part that i liked most was Remy hiding in Linguini's hat.Pulling his hair and controlling him.Making him more like a clown than a cook. This movie brings in a strong message " Not to give up easily".Definitely an inspiring show and worth watching. :)Go watch it if you have not done so.
Shouldn't i be sleeping at this time?
Well, its gonna be 4am and i'm still awake. I just couldn't get to sleep despite being tired.Listening to music and surfing web at the same time.Reading up on Grey's anatomy series in Wikipedia. It definitely ain't gonna be easy being an intern in a hospital. You gotta know what you are doing and of course, know your patients well.I mean, how are you gonna cramp your brain with medical jargons?Patient accessment, medical procedures.. blahblah. Its a challenging job, you get to do different things every single day.Meet different types of patients.Feeling all stress up and experiencing the emotional roller-coaster.I only managed to get hold of season 2.I can't seem to find season 3 anywhere. And there's gonna be season 4.I'm just curious about the ending. Will Meredith Grey end up with Derek Shepherd(Dr Macdreamy)? What about Cristina Yang and Preston Burke?Side-tracked too much.Back to topic.I should go get some sleep now.Shall blog a proper post tomorrow.
Shh! I've a secret to share.
Do you know everytime i pass by a carpark, my eyes will always keep a look out for Vespa? Yarlar, i'm dying to have my own Vespa. Most of the time, i hate to squeeze and cramp myself in public buses and trains with the rest. I rather have my own transport. But, something is holding me back.I've looked after patients who involved with RTA (Road Traffic Accident)usually bike accidents. Some survived with minor scratches and a few stitches but some remained comatose after the accident. Most of them are in their early twenties. What i meant was, after dealing with all these types of patients, i reckon i'll have the courage to take my bike license. Perhaps, i can consider having a car license because it would come in handy when i have my own family. :)I can see them but can't have them.I prefer the red Vespa. Can someone buy me a mini model of that,So that at least i own a mini Vespa? I like the red Mini Cooper. But i think the Toyota Fortuner would be better. Can throw my dog and kids behind while i drive. :P
Adsense VS other Ad programmes
As you can see, i've put up Googles ads at the top of my blog. In fact, i've signed up with Adsense 3 days back. There are a few reasons that i want to share about Adsense.1) After registering with Adsense you have to choose the layout that you want to put into your blog. I would recommend Adsense for content because the ads that they provide are targeted to your blog's unique content.2) You don't have to worry about when the ads will come to you. The moment you sign up with them and paste the code in your template, they will automatically "crawl" into your site and you are ready to deliver those ads instantly.3) As the ads are targeted to your blog's unique content, your readers will find them useful.4) You may ask, how do you get paid? When your readers click on the ads, you will get paid.5) How much you will earn depends on how much an advertiser bids on your site.I personally think that Adsense is more suitable for me than other ads programme. Its a good way to earn and finance your blog/site.Tempted to join Adsense?Click here to find out more.Meantime, start clicking on the ads located right above this post. (:

Yesterday night, my new neighbour came knocking on my door and passed me a slip of paper. And it says:" Renovation NoticeDear neighbours,We are residents of unit #04-489. We would like to inform you that our contractor will be doing hacking works for our house renovation on Tues (28.08.07), Wed (29.08.07) and Thurs (30.08.07). We seek your kind understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused.Should you have any queries, you may contact my contractor Mr Henry Goh at xxxxxxxx.Thank you.Regards,Mr Lim "Hence, Mr Lim is my new neighbour. It was so thoughtful of him to actually sit down and type the slip of notice and distribute it to the rest of my neighbours. He rather go from door to door to pass the notice rather than dropping it into the mailboxes which most people would resort to. So far, this is the first notice i received regarding about renovation being conducted. I mean, how many people out there would be so thoughtful enough to let fellow neighbours know about it and apologise for any interuption and inconvenience caused? Anyway, i won't be at home till night for the next few days. So, i've nothing to be worried about. :)
Age of Innocence
The way children see things.. NUDITY - I was driving with my three young children one warm summer evening when a woman in the convertible ahead of us stood up and waved. She was stark naked! As I was reeling from the shock, I heard my 5-year-old shout from the back seat, "Mom! That lady isn't wearing a seat belt!MORE NUDITY - A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself in the women's locker room. When he was spotted, the room burst into shrieks, with ladies grabbing towels and running for cover. The little boy watched in amazement and then asked, "What's the matter haven't you ever seen a little boy before?"HONESTY - My son Zachary, 4, came screaming out of the bathroom to tell me he'd dropped his toothbrush in the toilet. So I fished it out and threw it in the garbage. Zachary stood there thinking for a moment, then ran to my bathroom and came out with my toothbrush. He held it up and said with a charming little smile, "We better throw this one out too then, 'cause it fell in the toilet a few days ago.OPINIONS - On the first day of school, a first grader handed histeacher a Note from his mother. The note read, "The opinions expressed by this child are not necessarily those of his parents."KETCHUP - A woman was trying hard to get the ketchup to come out of the jar. During her struggle the phone rang so she asked her 4-year-old daughter to answer the phone. "It's the minister, Mommy," the child said to her mother. Then she added, "Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. She's hitting the bottle."ELDERLY - While working for an organization that delivers lunches to elderly shut-ins, I used to take my 4-year old daughter on my afternoon rounds. The various appliances of old age, particularly the canes, walkers and wheelchairs, unfailingly intrigued her. One day I found her staring at a pair of false teeth soaking in a glass. As I braced myself for the inevitable barrage of questions, she merely turned and whispered, "The tooth fairy will never believe this!"DRESS-UP - A little girl was watching her parents dress for a party. When she saw her dad donning his tuxedo, she warned, "Daddy, you shouldn't wear that suit." "And why not, darling?" "You know that it always gives you a headache the next morning"DEATH - While walking along the sidewalk in front of his church, our minister heard the intoning of a prayer that nearly made his collar wilt. Apparently, his 5-year-old son and his playmates had found a dead robin. Feeling that proper burial should be performed, they had secured a small box and cotton batting, then dug a hole and made ready for the disposal of the deceased. The minister's son was chosen to say the appropriate prayers and with sonorous dignity intoned his version of what he thought his Father always said: "Glory be unto the Faaaather, and unto the Sonnn, and into the hole he gooooes."SCHOOL - A little girl had just finished her first week of school. "I'm just wasting my time," she said to her mother. "I can't read, I can't write and they won't let metalk!"BIBLE - A little boy opened the big family bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages."Mama, look what I found," the boy called out." What have you got there, dear?" With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, "I think it's Adam's underwear!"
What is true love?
To me, true love is... The way you understand my problems and being there for me always. The way you support and encourage me to acomplish my dreams. The way you appreciate everything that i've done for you.The way you look into my eyes and tell me "i love you".Can't help but to reach for my phone to give you a call.Baking your favourite cookies.Singing your favourite songs.Sun-tanning together with you.Cam-whoring with you.Walking to the park with you holding my hand.Voluntarily spending time shopping with me.Telling me that you have a surprise for me.Falling asleep in your arms. You tickling me despite being afraid to be tickled. You hugging me tightly to sleep.Working hard for our future.Giving me all the TLC. Therefore, true love is..My Mr Low. =)

Nothing can stop me from having my own baby
What were you doing back then at the age of 15?I believe at the age of 15, we were mugging away.Rushing for projects, preparing for exams.BUT! what were this little girl doing at the age of 15?If you have watched the above video and understood what is going on,Then yes, she's trying to have a baby at the age of 15.Her mum caught her having sex on her bed not once but 3 times. She isn't shameful of being caught red-handed.She ignored her mum's feelings and carry on with her act.She have sex not only on her mum's bed, but on playground, parks, shopping centres and even in her school.she has collected all infant clothings and toys. She is very rebelious.Despite her mum's advice, she still insisted on having her own baby. She's just only 15, have not even graduated from high school. How is she gonna support her own baby when she doesn't have an income? This is just another burden to her mum if she really gonna have a baby. She wanted a baby so badly that she didn't even consider of the consequences of having one.She admitted that she slept with 5 guys before.OH gosh! Her education did not teach her about protective sex?Or those STDs?What if she has contracted with AIDS?Did she think about it and the burden that she will give to her parents?Wahlao! I feel like slapping her.She definitely break her mum's heart. Most probably, something went wrong with her upbringing. The way her mum talk to her, is so gentle despite all this that had happened.I wonder what is her mum going to do to her?
The touch of the healing hands
I'm going goo-goo-gaa-gaa over Grey's Anatomy series. Its all about the new interns who fight it out in the most reputable hospital residency programme. All five of the interns are special in their own ways. They managed to form friendships and grow with each other. Its not all about cutting a patient up but instead showing the meaning of friendships, relationships, emotions turmoils.Previously, i managed to watch the whole of season 1.I shall continue watching season 2 now.Its not easy looking for their DVDs.BUT BUT!!!! I saw season 2 DVDS for rent the other day.Weekends coming, shall rent the DVDS, watch it and shake legs at the same time. :PBarriers don't keep others out, they fence you in.Sometimes doing something is worst than doing nothing.
