Finally, Andy Lau is coming!!
It had so many years since Hong Kong heavenly king superstar Andy Lau come to Singapore for a concert. I've attended all his concerts in Singapore all these years and even took a 7-hours bus ride to watch him in Genting Highlands in either 2001 or 2002. Hated myself for not going to watch him in Kuala Lumpur in 2005, it was an open-air concert which I had never experienced before. Had been

A frigid Sunday
I was left stranded at Singapore Post Center for 13 hours last Sunday. Reaching there as early as 0700 hours .... phew! I was there for the SASCA Sound Quality Challenge 2008. It's another 8 hours wait before it's my turn....
Saw some impressive ride. There was this interesting Toyota Harrier from K.L. , Malaysia. How many of you had seen such a "short" Harrier? Hahaha..
Do look down on

The meeting time was 8:00pm, I managed to "reach" Shenton area in time, being a complete stranger to the CBD area, I made a wrong turn thus I need to make a huge turn before returning to Market Street.
Once again, I could not find Market Street Car Park and found Golden Shoe Car
iPhone 3G - Secret
Everyone should already know that Apple iPhone 3G will go on sale on 22 August 2008 by SingTel. Actually I know about this news and have a feel of the Apple iPhone 3G when I was invited to the BAK2u/BLOG2u iPhone 3G viewing session at iShop by Club21 some weeks back.
BAK2u got hold of two iPhone 3G from Hong Kong to test their Anti-theft software (which worked well) and seized the chance to

I joined the mimicking your idol contest, made into the second round, but didn't win the tickets. I joined the Genting MTV Asia Awards 2008 Flavour Contest Quiz, I won a pair of tickets to the live viewing party at Genting

Makan at Hachi Tei Japanese Cuisine
Before going to watch Red Cliff on my blockbuster weekend some 2 weeks ago, went dinner with my friends at Hachi Tei Japanese Cuisine which he had been raving for many years. It was till that very night that I (finally) dine there.
Hachi Tei was once featured on Sunday Times some years ago, I think I read about it but never tried them out. Previously Hachi Tei was situated at #B1-27 China
Wordless Wednesday #40 - Mimicking Andy Lau
Photograph of me mimicking Andy Lau's Everyone is No.1 CD cover.
I want to go to the MTV Asia Awards 2008 at Genting - City of Entertainment. I decided to mimick ny favorite nominated MTV Asia Awards 2008 artist. Who else but Andy Lau whom is nominated for Most Popular Singer (Hong Kong).
After the first round of voting, I managed to make into the last 35 pictures submission. There is another

The Dark Knight ROCKS!
I'm getting a bit worried because I watched (yet) another movie this past weekend, this time round it's The Dark Knight. I did tell myself that I might not watch this movie because I had watched the trailer countless times when I watched other movies. Nevertheless, all the great reviews of this movie from fellow barflies had won over me.
I watched The Dark Knight with barflies Jaschocolate and

Blockbuster Weekend
The weekend had passed, so is Monday ending in a few hours time.
So how did you spend your weekend?? For me, I had a "blockbuster weekend" as I watched two blockbuster movies over the weekend.
It was an impromptu decision to watch Hellboy II: The Golden Army on Friday night. It was such last minute, that I confirm with Dowagr and booked tickets slightly two hours before the showtime. Luckily
Yesh! I did it!!!
I went to take my IPPT during my RT Phase 1 yesterday. If I pass, I would have cleared last year's and this year's window; if I failed I would have to continue with a "gruesome" 3 days per week RT Phase 2.
After all the weight lost and physical trainings I did, I told myself that I should not fail. I also does not want to waste 3 days per week for the "gruesome" RT Phase 2.
I went for Sit-up

Watched: Hancock
Went to watch Hancock last Friday, here's the synopsis grabbed from the Internet:
John Hancock (Will Smith) is an unhappy and reluctant superhero who is living in his own world. For some unknown reason, Hancock is depressed and has started drinking very heavily. He has saved many lives in Los Angles over the years, but in doing so, he has no regards for damaging buildings, trains, roads, cars,
(ADV) Lawry's The Prime Rib
Be amazed with the superior service provided by the staff. Lawry’s signature dish, Roasted Prime Ribs of Beef, is craved and served specially from Lawry’s silver carts. These carts are wheeled to diner’s tables, giving them the opportunity to choose their preferred cuts, from rare to as well done as they’d like. Absolute freedom. Waiters’ uniforms are designed such that diners feel like they
Watched: Wanted
I was in Genting Highlands this past weekend and watched Wanted for just RM$11 and that's SIN$4.70, (woot!) it's like more than 50% discount for a weekend screening in Singapore cinemas.
Ever since I watched the trailer, I had told myself that I'll watch this movie because it looked interesting with all the CGI effects. To top it off, Angelina Jolie looked really HOT in this film.
The movie

Karaoke session with barflies
One of my favorite past time is singing. I remember that it was rather a weekly affair to pay a visit to karaoke during my polytechnic days. However, after and during army, it a monthly or few months affair. Then, now it had became almost a yearly affair. Boring, maybe my friends are tired of hearing me sing... thus several karaoke plans did not materialize...
A few weeks ago, I finally

Get Smart .... be an entrepreneur!!
So how did you spent your weekend? I went to watch Get Smart over the weekend. It's super funny, you'll laugh almost throughout the whole movie. All I have to say - it's an awesome movie, of course including the equally awesome "Agent 99" Anne Hathaway!!
Sigh, with a blink of an eye, the short 2 days weekend had passed and it's Blue Monday again. It's time that I get back to the desk in the
