ZegaPain review Just finished watching the entire series after deciding to stop watching till more episodes came out, ‘cos I didn’t want to wait for the bloody next episode. All I can say is WOW. Not World of Warcraft, but wow. If you discount the crappy 3D animated Mechas, the artwork, the visuals are extremely pretty and worth the watch, the characters are interesting and well developed. Essentially, ZegaPain is a mecha anime, with the focus not so much on the mechas, but the interaction between the characters and the overall storyline. While the sudden Deus Ex Machina at the end of the plotline was still plausible, it still gave a damn feeling. The series reached the peak at around episode 14, where things were suddenly going right and then they threw you a big ball of wtf. And it even made me cry, I don’t think I’ve watched a series that so affected me since Junni Kokki (The Twelve Kingdoms), though JK was in a different way. Tons of irony abound, where humans without bodies actually have more emotions and feelings then evolved humans with bodies.  Where the real world isn’t what it looks like (Matrix comparisions). All I can say is, watch the show, and let it bring you into a not too distant future where it is actually possible. Where love and mysteries abound, where hope…is not lost. The graduation.. No I didn’t attend. Officially I’ve graduated. But I didn’t see the point of attending. Grats to all though. I’m just here for the cert honestly. Sigh. And then again, I didn’t really feel all that hyped or motivated for the ceremony anyhows. Nothing really interesting to me. What a waste of time for me, took me 4 years longer then most people to get a degree. Stupid NS. Grrrrr. Now I’m in my mid twenties and I haven’t even started work or have a career. Gotta love how the Singapore government shafts its own citizens and gives our jobs away to foreign talent who get more pay. Let’s also not forget the elitists who can’t be fucked about how our people are suiciding almost every other week, while they happily raise taxes. I wonder if we’ll ever get something like a revolution or at least something to shock our complacent PAP and wake up their blardy idea. That way I know they will be out to take care of us, rather then their own elitist backsides. MTV - In Love Again God this song is just so addictive. From the funky electropop beats to the piano jingle that hooks the song. It’s a simple song, but the melodies interwining is just plain nice. Admittedly abit technoish, but the way the whole thing links what makes this song good to my ears. Love this track have it on replay on my iTunes for a while now. Again again again again… Who knew? Will speak to him on Sat -.- Of re-reads and numbers I've started re-reading the Wheel of Time again, up to my first 20 pages into the book, I remembered something about how someone said that the first 100 pages are very Tolkien-esque. Then I realised it was so. Intrigued, so I'm reading very carefully this time, instead of my normal breakneak speed, pausing to analyse each sentence and stuff. Which scares me because I remember my studies and about semiotics and content analysis, and I'm trying to analyse the social nuances in the text and the way the text is written. Ack. Too much info eh? And of numbers, FUCK FUCK FUCK, I lost my stupid Internet Banking number. AGAIN. Why can't I choose my account name? Why does it have to be some randomily assigned number from the stupid bank and why is it written on a stupid small scrap of paper that always goes missing. KNNCCB And such bad timing, when I have to settle the rent too! Nvm, will be going down for work again, and will go to the bank and ask for the bloody number again. On a side note: I'm being paid $16 bucks an hour to scan documents! AWESOME! Enjoying my internship Hohoho. I think it's kinda fun, just one week in August, and another in Oct, but I've been learning a whole bunch. I'm even been getting bylines in the paper. The difference here and singapore is that, 1. they take it you understand what the bloody hell is going on, and 2. Are not afraid to teach you if you don't. I am pratically taking over the sports desk as the sports dude is on holiday. *Joy* Bylines! Bylines!
