It felt like it has been years since we last met, even though our last meeting was probably 2 months ago… ok, maybe longer for some. Perhaps it’s time to organize a gathering… How about a Xmas one, guys? Illegal gathering at Caldecott? As i strolled in to work, i see a a group of girls sitting around the taxi stand area. Well, they seemed to be the usual bunch i always see, ‘camping’ outside Caldecott (MediaCorp), waiting for artistes and celebrities. Or so i thought before walking up the stairs… Huge group of girls and 2 sleepy looking guys (probably keeping their gfs company), sitting on the pathway to reception, chatting and gossiping away… -_-” My first thought was… illegal gathering? Then again, i realized we usually get such big groups during shows like, Singapore Idol & Campus Superstars but those crowds only come in during late afternoon… =/ These people are here since… 7am? 8am? Last night? Only God knows what time they’ve been here. Some of them brought picnic mats, macbook & laptops, so i presumed they stayed over since last night. I admire them for being so determine to see their idols, i would probably have gone home after waiting for 3hrs. I’m pretty tempted to ask them what’s going on or who are they waiting for… ‘Cos even our own people (more on the technical side) have no idea what’s going on. I’m very sure they are not here to see that Scottish guy in kilts. Since almost all from the group are chinese. Hmmm… If i get the chance to ask them or find out what’s going on, i’ll update this post. Anyway… No pics, i don’t wish to risk getting whack or ‘hum tum’ by them… =) ***** Updated: Didn’t manage to see them after work… It was shown on the news, queued overnight for tickets… -_-” New domain (Parallel blogging) I’m currently doing parallel blogging, as i’ve ads from nuffnang that would only end this weekend. ***** Anyway… The new site is finally up and running… =) If you read my previous posts, I’ve ‘pondered’ on getting my own web hosting and domain… especially having so many friends with their own sites and I’ve been yearning to trouble myself with hosting & cpanel. For some strange reason, the .com domain i wanted had been registered by a PRC logistics company and .net or .org didn’t seem right to me, so i settled for a simple .sg domain by Cybersite, at SGD$39 a year. Pretty cheap for a .sg domain, compared to other sites which are selling at SGD$60+++. The only troublesome part, I would need to email them to change my domain dns settings. Next was picking a good web host… I thought of hosting my site with a local hosting company but most just can’t match up to the US hosting, be it pricing or web space… In the end, I’m hosting with Eventra Solutions (local company), which gave me quite a deal and help for my site, from DNS settings, FTP help to webmail settings. Within 48 hours, I’ve gotten everything up and running. Well… Due to my lack of sleep and laziness, I’m using a generic template, Autumn, found on Wordpress template, till i find the time and strength to design my own template… and after I’ve helped Dad set up his company website :) Now… I’m wondering, should i still go get that unique .com domain? ‘Cos piggy is quite sure no one would register that. *Grin* ***** And not forgetting… Thanks to FoxTwo and Xizor, for some DNS help :D Busy… *be back later* For those who have yet to know… I’ve gotten my domain and hosting, currently doing some slight ‘tuning’ to it. Eg. happily learning how to NOT accidentally delete my wordpress folder or screw up my settings in CPANEL, look for necessary plugins and some adverts to help cover a little cost. And the funniest part, my boss had to nudge and wake me up, ‘cos i was snoring, in one of the meetings… *roflol* Yeah, it was pretty embarassing… =P Anyway… I’ve yet to fall asleep in meetings for the past 9months but one can never be too sure it wouldn’t happen again. It should be M18 and above… Due to insane amount of 4-letter fxxx word, slight boob scenes and probably a whole load of wrong ideas for those under 18, to get booze and laid. But of course, i maybe wrong… =) Story: 2.5/5 Acting: 4/5 Silly-ness: 4/5 Overall: 3.5/5 It’s hilarious in most parts (only if you understand the jokes and language) and if you don’t mind the f word going on and on in the show, watch it with a bunch of friends. Note: Movie opening from 18th October ***** Anyway… Thanks to Golden Village, caught the sneak preview on Friday, at Plaza Sing and it came with a cute Golden Village plushie / pillow, refer to pic below… Dumb photo-whoring bimbo The following incident is true and happened within the last 2 days. ***** 11th Oct: I arrived in office, thinking of uploading my mobile phone pictures on photobucket and blogged about them. Upon logging into my Photobucket a/c, i realized someone has uploaded her photos in my account. I felt damn pissed, even thou i know it’s possible as my password was the same as my login (yeap, i admit i’m at fault too). Immediately, i deleted all her pictures and changed password, to prevent anything of such, from happening again. And with help from Google Search, i found her blog and warned her for using my account. 12th Oct: Headed back to her blog, for a response and as expected, from a dumb bimbo, she scolded me for deleting her pictures and CLAIMED that it’s her account. *Roll eyes* If you think i’ll just let it be, no way. Since I’m not the one who misused others’ account and CLAIM it’s theirs. ***** I know, i’m at fault too for having such a guessable password, which had been promptly changed. Till now, i’m still amused by that dumb bimbo and her claim. Since THAT account has always been registered using my name, my gmail account and i still have Photobucket approving email, dated August 2005… Not forgetting, 6 folders of my travel & misc. photos can be found in it. And I believe she had attempted to log into my gmail a/c, not once by thrice, as i’ve received multiple Gmail emails on forgetting / resetting password, during the past 6months. Her claim is based on her assumption and probably her photo-whoring pictures. As for mine, i have all the documents and pictures to prove it. If i have to be nasty, i would. Since i could never put up stupid people making assumption & accusations. ***** If it she had been a hacker, i could have just forgive and forget. Furthermore, it’s just a free photo account. If she had been a ignorant pretty girl, i could have just forget about it if she apologies. But no… She had to scold me. Perhaps she’s THAT DUMB of a bimbo who can’t hack for peanuts or read or realize, why are there pictures of other people in the main page of that account. In short, a hell of a stupid girl. Pris (during granny’s wake): Stay strong, that’s you. Bday card: I’ve never seen you feeling down (or in my own explanation: clinically depressed). i know you would be back and fine, immediately. These are just 2 examples of what my friends have said to me, which i never realized that i’ve given them such an impression of me. It’s true that i wouldn’t go depress for more than a week or two, but that’s because i’ve friends around me helping, nagging and dragging me out of it. And i appreciate all those who helped, nagged and dragged. But… At times, i do wanna be depressed and comforted, instead of being the comforter. I’ve ever told Sean (in similar context): “I wanna be depress, sink in depression and self-pity… indulge in it and get it out and through… but when i try to do it, almost immediately i’m jotted back to reality, by everyone and anyone…” Sometimes i feel… People expect me to be strong, not for my own sake but for their sake… Perhaps it helps them with their own problems and life. And because i’m the kind who gets myself in shit-load of troubles, yet able to walk out of it and seemed nonchalant. That’s because… I’m brought up in a strange way by my both previously military personnel parents… To be independent and fend for myself, because they were almost never around when i needed someone to talk or they often ‘brushed’ off. To my dearest friends and all others… I’m okay and will be, most of the time… But i do have moments i feel depressed, need to be alone and shut everyone out I’ll be back on my feet but i’ll need time too… to embrace and learn. Only after that, i’ll truly learn to be stronger and be a better person. ***** Lunch. A bad start… Today, is the official start of Stage 3… Which also means we are one step closer to system going ‘live’. For me, this is nothing personal against any govt. If one is unable to please and maintain peace for the country, wouldn’t it be better to hand the seat over to someone else who’s able to? Furthermore, they can’t deny intentions of misleading world viewers and readers, when actual footages are being shown around the world. Apologies to all who has been hurt and lost their love ones. Something has been bugging me since Friday… In order to get it outta my system, i shall share it with everyone… =) ***** Remember the cute consultant that gave me a shock? He’s now known as Sotong Boy… Not because of his looks… It’s based on something he did. You see… There is this cute GIANT / Kid-sized squid plushie (similar to pic below): That belongs to the female consultant, KW… Guess KW allowed Sotong Boy to play with it, so he happily hugged it and walked around the whole studio / workplace with it… not once, but twice. During the 2nd time, he stopped infront of me and other consultants, then placed it on the seat i was on while chatting to another female consultant. I was like… “wtf…” …. -_-” When he walked towards us with it… I think the plushie is cute and Sotong Boy may seem cute too… But seeing him hug and walk around the plushie… …. -_-” Thankfully there weren’t much users and consultants left in the studio. Probably less than 10 people. But i can’t help thinking, is he abnormal or trying to act cute… Or trying EXTREMELY HARD to get our attention, since we have been ignoring him most of the time… Hmmm, probably the latter. Maybe the best way is to give him our full attention… Or ask him ‘what the f00k are you doing?’ ***** Man, i feel better after writing it out… =)
